Anyone know the dimensions? I know a lot of calibers are nominal designations, so...

cartridge OD?
Chamber diameter?
Barrel ID?

I had seen that some had chambers cut and other just left it a straight pipe. I am guessing a chamber would be only to accommodate the thickness of the cartridge wall since the projectile is generally totally enclosed?

I've scoured internet and found nothing..

Thanks

Mine is just a cheapo "slam bang" one, there is no chamber cut. talked to the guy who built it at the Knob creek gun show (where i bought it) he said the barrel is 4130 DOM. It measures 1.752 od 1.557 id, so taking into considderation manufacturing tollerances i would believe it's probably 1.75 od .095 wall 4130 tubing. never shot anything but ping pong balls with just a primer, supprising they come out real fast. not having a locked breach i haven't tried anything else, like flares  (little nervous), but it sure does look cool!

my 37mm launcher has the following specs:
Bore ID @ breech end: 1.56"
Bore ID @ muzzle: 1.49"
OD @ muzzle: 1.75"
Wall thickness: 0.13"

"Breech face" ID 1.72"
Barrel length ~12"

the bore steps out to full diameter abruptly about 3.75" from the muzzle

the plastic 37mm shells i have for loading your own "flares" are 1.53" OD / 1.37" ID, 1.70" OD including the rim @ base, and 2.02" long. They have a 1.15" tall conical "nosecone" cap that can fit on the end.
